Dear Beloved CBC Family and Friends,

As we step into this New Year together, my heart is full of gratitude for each of you and great expectation for what God desires to do among us. A new year invites us not only to set goals, but to be INTENTIONAL—especially about our relationships with God and with one another. In a world that often pulls us toward isolation and distraction, the Holy Spirit calls us deeper into genuine connection, forgiveness, encouragement, and love. Let us commit to bein

present with one another, bearing each other’s burdens, and strengthening the bonds that make us a true spiritual family and community of believers.

As we move forward, may our service to God be marked by sincerity and excellence. Scripture reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23). To be intentional in our service means moving beyond routine and ensuring that Christ’s glory is our primary compass. It is a conscious choice to decrease so that He may increase, turning every task—no matter how small—into a monument of praise to His grace. Whether we serve publicly or quietly, in church or in our daily lives, everything we do is an offering unto the Lord. When we serve with the specific intent of reflecting His character, our work becomes a bridge for others to encounter His love. Let us guard against the "busy-ness" that forgets the Builder, and instead, labor with a focused heart that seeks only His "Well done." This year, let us serve with joyful hearts, renewed passion, and unwavering faith, knowing that God sees, honors, and uses every act done for His glory. I am praying for you and excited to walk with you into all that God has prepared.

With love and hope in Christ,

Your Pastor
