As we begin the second month of this new year, let us be mindful of its importance and celebration of Black History.
During this month we celebrate the efforts of African-Americans as they helped to bridge gaps and solidify the infrastructure of these United States.
African-Americans have contributed much to both the church and the world. Be like-minded and yoked in love with one another, just as Christ loved each of us.
This month, let us be intentional about honoring the history of those who have been marginalized simply because of ignorance.
Let our prayers be of unity, kindness, and gentleness toward all of mankind.
May the love of Christ shine in you and through you as we celebrate Black History Month.
