CBC friends and family,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. November is a month in which we focus on self-awareness and transition. As we lean into the month of November let us be intentional about examining ourselves and reflect on our strengths and deficits. Let us embrace our strengths and work to overcome and better manage our deficits. It is my prayer that each of you will continue focusing on our connection theme and use this month to re-establish your personal connection with Jesus to create a renewed sense of belonging. Please use these words of Paul to the church of Corinth in his second epistle to be your guide during this month of selfexamination and self-reflection. May God continue to bless and keep you as you begin your journey this month.
5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you— unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. 7 Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed.
