Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I thank God that we were able to end the third quarter on a strong note and focus on our theme of “Come Grow.” What an exciting time it is as we enter of the final quarter of the year. Looking back on our time together over this past year, I am reminded of the awesome blessing that God bestowed on me as I was called to be your pastor exactly one year ago on Oct 1st, 2021. For one year we have shared stories and lessons and have had dialogue about the importance of worshiping, serving and growing. We now shift our focus on connecting. Connecting refers to relationships, the core of our church. The
Bible teaches us in the book of Romans 12:5 NIV “so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
This month for the start of the new quarter I am asking each of you to help the CBC family connect with someone new ever Sunday. I am challenging every member and friend to invite at least one person to join you for our 10:30 am worship service. At the end of the month the leadership team will tally the total of people invited per member and name a winner of this challenge. In November this member or friend will be blessed with a token of our appreciation and dinner with my wife and I. May God continue to bless and keep you, as you COME CONNECT with us this quarter.
